Become a House Parent

Samuel’s House could not exist without the service of loving and committed house parents.  We invite you to watch this short video and read the following information.  Then, if you feel led to become a house parent, fill out the form below.  You can also call or email us directly with any questions.  We look forward to talking with you.

Being a House Parent

As a house parent at Samuel’s House, your primary responsibility is to provide a stable and nurturing environment for the children in your care. Each parent, or set of parents, has a household with a set number children. House parents are not financially responsible for the needs of the children. In the case of married couples, the husband is expected to work outside the home, or within the Samuel’s House organization (farm, campground, school, etc.).  In order to allow more one-on-one time with the children in your care, Samuel’s House has a number of staff members to assist with meal preparation and homework.
